Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) describes permitted and prohibited uses of the AvSuite Lite platform, website, applications, software, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). AvSuite Lite is operated by Nicholl Aviation LLC. By accessing or using the Services, an organization and each authorized user agree to comply with this Policy.
1. Appropriate Use
AvSuite Lite is designed to help aircraft partnerships, co-owners, flying clubs, and other member-based aircraft organizations manage scheduling, dispatch, aircraft records, maintenance items, expenses, documents, accounts, and membership. Users must use the Services lawfully, professionally, consistently with aviation safety, and for legitimate organizational purposes.
2. Accuracy and Integrity of Records
Users are responsible for information they enter. Users must not knowingly falsify reservations, flight activity, meter values, dispatch or return entries, maintenance and inspection records, squawks, expenses, charges, payments, balances, member identities, aircraft status, documents, or other records. Users must not backdate or alter information to deceive another person, avoid a legal or contractual obligation, or misrepresent an aircraft’s condition, use, or availability.
3. Aviation Safety and Compliance
AvSuite Lite is an administrative tool and is not a substitute for required inspections, maintenance records, operating limitations, aircraft documents, official weather or flight information, legal advice, or pilot judgment. The Services may not be used to knowingly facilitate illegal aircraft operations, flights by unqualified individuals, intentional operation of an aircraft known to be unairworthy, falsification of aviation records, or other conduct creating an unreasonable safety risk.
4. Account and Invitation Security
Users must protect credentials, devices, email accounts, and registration invitations. Users may not share credentials with unauthorized persons, impersonate another person, access another user’s account without authorization, obtain another user’s credentials, reuse or publish private invitation links, circumvent access controls, or use another person’s identity to enter or approve records. Suspected unauthorized access should be reported promptly.
5. Unauthorized Access and System Abuse
Users may not interfere with, compromise, damage, or gain unauthorized access to AvSuite Lite or connected systems. Prohibited conduct includes bypassing access controls; unauthorized vulnerability scanning; introducing malware or harmful code; denial-of-service activity; exploiting vulnerabilities; unauthorized scraping, automation, or data extraction; reverse engineering except where legally permitted; or interfering with another user’s access. Security research requires prior written authorization.
6. Personal and Organization Information
Users may access, use, export, or disclose personal, membership, aviation, operational, and financial information only for legitimate and authorized purposes. Users must not access records without authorization, disclose private information improperly, export records for an improper purpose, use information to harass or exploit another person, or publicly distribute private records without authorization.
7. Uploaded Content and Documents
Users must have the right or authorization to upload material. Users may not upload malware, unlawful content, fraudulent or intentionally falsified documents, infringing content, abusive material, personal information they are not authorized to possess or disclose, or unrelated files that create security, storage, or operational problems.
8. Billing and Financial Records
Users must not use AvSuite Lite to commit fraud, create deceptive charges or payments, manipulate balances dishonestly, evade taxes or legal obligations, launder money, or misrepresent accounting records. Disputes between an organization and its members remain the responsibility of those parties.
9. Harassment and Misconduct
AvSuite Lite may not be used to threaten or harass another person, engage in discriminatory or abusive conduct, impersonate an individual or organization, defraud another party, conduct phishing or deceptive activity, send unlawful or abusive communications, or violate applicable law.
10. Subscription Scope and Fair Use
One AvSuite Lite subscription may cover the aircraft and authorized users of one legitimate organization without per-aircraft or per-member fees. Users may not resell access, combine unrelated organizations to avoid separate subscriptions, provide unauthorized third parties with access, operate a service bureau, use automated activity that imposes unreasonable system load, or use the Services in a manner that materially harms service availability, security, or other customers.
11. Intellectual Property
Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, license, or create derivative works from AvSuite Lite software, branding, interfaces, documentation, or proprietary content except as expressly permitted. Users must respect copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, and other rights of third parties.
12. Monitoring and Enforcement
AvSuite Lite may investigate suspected violations using account, activity, security, delivery, and audit information reasonably available to it. Depending on the circumstances, AvSuite Lite may remove content, restrict functionality, suspend access, terminate an account, preserve information, notify an organization administrator, or cooperate with lawful requests. Immediate action may be taken when reasonably necessary to protect users, data, aircraft operations, system integrity, or legal interests.
13. Reporting Violations
Suspected misuse, unauthorized access, security incidents, record falsification, or other violations may be reported to support@avsuitelite.com. Reports should include enough information to allow reasonable investigation.
14. Changes to This Policy
AvSuite Lite may update this Policy as the Services, risks, or legal requirements change. The “Last Updated” date identifies the current version. Continued use after an updated Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
